Mango Pulp - Rose - Toffee (Order will be fulfilled from 01/10/2026)
One of our in-house sourcing experts, @CameronPurewal, travelled to the prestigious estate to experience the coffee at source and immediately fell in love with what they were producing.
So much so, he secured the entire crop of this particular lot for Singh Beans.
That means this coffee is exclusive to us in the UK. A remarkable lot, sourced at origin and roasted with our own unique approach to bring out everything that made it so special in the first place.
Rather than roasting it super-light, we use a blend of light, medium and darker roast profiles from the very same coffee, carefully combined to highlight its sweetness, fruit and depth. The result is a cup that’s expressive, balanced and full of character, with the mango pulp, rose and toffee notes coming through beautifully.
A carefully processed micro-lot built around clarity, complexity and the character of the SLN 9 varietal.
LOT-RDW-5 comes from the Giri Patte block and undergoes a distinctive sequential fermentation process, combining both anaerobic and aerobic fermentation before being fully washed and slowly dried.
Once harvested, the ripe coffee cherries are placed into an anaerobic fermentation for 24 hours while still intact, allowing fermentation to begin naturally within the fruit.
The cherries are then depulped and undergo a further 24-hour aerobic fermentation, introducing oxygen and developing the coffee through a second, contrasting stage of fermentation.
After fermentation, the coffee is thoroughly washed before being slowly dried for 16 days, allowing moisture to reduce gradually and evenly while preserving the quality developed throughout processing.
The result is a meticulously produced coffee that showcases just how much influence thoughtful fermentation and drying can have on the final cup.
